Our
Story
Established during 1970's in Penang, Malaysia, Hong Huat Millwork has over 50 years of experiences and craftmanship in manufacturing doors, door frames, architraves, handrails, timber flooring for large scale developments, Penang UNESCO heritage restorations, and end users in the Northern Region of Peninsula Malaysia. In addition, we export to United Kingdom, South Korea, China for laminated boards, furniture parts, and plywood doors. Since 2020, HHMW entered the furniture segment by manufacturing solid wood furniture for the domestic market through the home and living segment, specializing in TV cabinets, side tables, coffee tables, console tables, stools, step chairs, and many more for domestic wholesale and retail.

Future Plans
We look to increase our Solid Wood Furniture Section capacity by adding a hybrid production line, incorporating semi-autonomous machinery and lines increase our output without sacrificing the quality and improving our scheduling with current and potential customers.

In addition, we have recently upgraded our Door and Frame Section from a monthly output of 1,500 doors to 2,000 doors per month to cope with rising local demands for development projects as well as our WEFORU campaign of fabricating quality wood products for end consumers in Penang and Kedah.

Over the years, HHMW has manufactured and supplied quality wood products to many segments of the economy, paving way for us to be well reputable in various industries.

We supply timber doors and door frames to leading developers and G7 contractors in Penang, Kedah, and Perak as well as exports to South Korea and Singapore.
For our solid wood furniture, we fabricate for wholesalers to be distributed throughout Malaysia. Today, our products can be found in most furniture retailers and showrooms in Malaysia.
HHMW has a long-standing history of supplying good quality finger jointed and lamination rubber wood boards to local furniture manufacturers with the purpose of exporting end products to USA, Australia, Eastern Europe, and Japan. Hence we understand the requirements of manufacturing quality timber furniture for international buyers.
